From 1976 - 1983, 30000 people were abducted and killed during the military dictatorship in Argentina, many of them taken out of their homes. Many of their bodies were never found, buried in nameless graves or thrown into the Rio de la Plata river. Their children were left behind, living with the absence of someone without a physical place to grief. But at the same time, they build their own place, where the desaparecido is present, a place, where they can finally meet again. In 2017, many of the officers, military, and politicians responsible for these crimes against humanity have still not properly been convicted.
